This is worth sharing.

This is in the American setting. Nevertheless this is something we, as Filipinos must also think about.

Photo cropped from GOOP website.

Isn't it an enriching article to read? For me, it is.

Penny for your thoughts.

It takes more than will power to actually do something. You must have discipline and synchronization of your body, mind and heart.

Self-adhesive book cover.

School year has officially started. From little tykes to grown ups college students, everyone has already prepared their back-to-school stuff; pens, papers and posh bags! One basic materials that students need, although they really don't notice it is the infamous plastic cover. If you're the OC type, then this would be among you're priority (It is one of my basic school stuff I immediately buy).

This cover is a clear/translucent plastic material, thin and measures about 2 meters (length). It is something monotonous in form, color and design (Isn't it?) but very useful. Makes cleaning dust from your books an easy task. However, unknown to many there is an ingenious invention (Yes! I want to call it that way LOL) that helps you cover and decorate your books at the same time without the use of any sticky tape. Usually when we use regular plastic cover, sticky tapes are a must since you need to secure the edges.

My friend Monica, introduced to me a new way to cover up books; hers has only plain design. From that moment, I searched for it in various bookstores and school supplies store. Alas! I found it in a store in EDSA Central. I think was lucky because mine had a design in it. The plain version is a bit tricky to apply and sometimes can easily be peeled off. Want to know what it is? Come on, I know you're all curious for something new :)

Here are the pictures for your visual digestion! :)

I really don't know which is the manufaturer, either its YongFeng or Aihua :)

It looks smaller than your regular plastic cover.

I love, love that it has it's own ruler. Super neat!

The first design. Kinda looks like leaves.

The second design. More visible than the other one :)

So just how much does this ingenious plastic cover costs? Yeah. It's costly but it's worth your money :)
So what did I tell you? Its one great invention, right?

Diner in town.

I bet you've heard or read a lot about a certain burger chain in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. Since its opening, various people (motorists, car owners and bloggers alike) have flocked and raved about it. So the curiosity in me (And my stomach LOL!) wanted to try out this burger chain.

One quiet afternoon, after coming from an event nearby, we decided to have lunch in there. It did not took us long before we noticed the signboard that says - Charlie's Burger. Upon arriving at the place I immediately noticed and felt that the entrance area (I can't find the right term, sorry) looks like a simple cafeteria. I also did not liked, at first,  how the car wash looked beside the resto. Then I remembered this is somehow patterned at the American diners I saw being featured in AFC or Lifestyle channel. I wanted to know more about the resto, sadly I was not able to talk to anyone from the crew.

Now, onto the service and food. Charlie's Burger operates on a self-service method. That's fine with me though. The thing is, we found it hard to get our orders finalized since we have to go outside and look at the menu. And since it was our first time, we thought they have this pull-out menu list just like ordinary restos. So much for rushing to get a seat inside the air-conditioned area haha! I guess, if we dine here often I would get used to looking outside for the menu. After a quick look at the menu, we decided to try out the basic first.

THE Black Angus Beef!

Sorry, BF munched on these before I got to take a decent picture of them haha!

The tray of the wings that were once there.

American - BF, Russian - ME!

BF promised we would try out the drinks soon. I'm excited :)

Yikes! For students (ehem ehem) like us, this is costly. But I'd say still worth it!

The food was superb. Real American style. The beef was grilled perfectly, the serving was also a plus because it was big enough for me. The wings were not my taste though. It was in chili flavor. But the BF said it tasted great. I sure do wish they serve rice (Just wishing, although it is not possible because Charlie's Burger is patterned after the American diners.)

Cheers for good food!

And I thought good furniture is scarce in here.

Well, I was wrong. I usually look at Bo Concept, Dimensione and other classy furniture boutique stores when craving for a fab quality stuff for homes. Good thing I saw this post from The Diplomatic Wife (Yeah, I'm a follower :3).

The furniture from PLC107 Furniture Showroom (Weird name for a store right. Sounds like a mechanical part or something LOL), are on SALE!  Fab, chick and elegant pieces all for 50% off from their original prices. It's madness I say. I really love stuff like this because I'm a sucker for beautiful and well-crafted furniture for homes. I went to their site (PLC107 has a Facebook account, you can check it out) and looked at other furniture that they are offering.

"I want to be a billionaire so freakin' bad..."

Urban chic!

Super like!

Dream Bed. There would be only sweet dreams in this bed I tell ya!

Note:  All photos are from the Facebook page of PLC107 Furniture Showroom.

Are you also crazy and madly in love with furniture as I do?

Back to regular programming.

I never intended it to happen.I never thought it would happen to me. It was sudden that it shocked my mom, and me of course. The irony is, how sudden and fast it got me, it took a whole week to remove it. Ah sickness. The reason for it all. My Pandora's box. But I guess, nobody really does intend to be sick. I would rather have... hmm. Wait, wait. I don't want to compromise haha. I would not want to be sick. Period.

Being sick is so not me, although stress can take a toll on my very small and tiny figure. And even if I'm thin (Looking as if sickly thin haha) I really have no problems being super sick (You know, bed-ridden, constant high fever, always feeling nauseating and so on). I was even rushed to the Medical City in the wee hours of the morning. Talk about having a dextrose for the second time. My very first shot at dextrose was... 17 years ago! Wow! See I told you I don't get that sick. After all the fuss and sleepless nights, I am all well. Sort of. But I know I am haha. I just need to watch my lifestyle, so I won't end in the worst scenario.

Thankfully, God answered my prayers. I can now walk properly, eat plenty and do my daily chores. So expect some posts for this week (I have my list of possible topics to write about LOL).

How about you guys? I hope you are all doing well and all.
