White and Red.
Every February 14, there are three statuses you would often hear: National Independence Day (Aminin, uso ito for the husbands and wives out there LOL), National Single Awareness Day and Valentines Day. Couples would frolic here and there, and emit an aura of being mushy while noticing the reaction of those without any companion. Sungit with deadma effect. Pak! How I wish that those who have no particular someone should also emit the glowing aura of love. Love is an emotion and not just simply waving your civil status. Also, I personally think that Valentines Day should not only be a celebration for a boy and girl relationship.
. Before the day itself, I told myself that I would never wear anything red. I don't have any scientific explanation for that, but I find it too overrated to wear red on V-day. Plus, I don't want to match the color of the decors in each and every place I pass by (Red-colored cut outs in cupid and heart shape, anyone?). So what I did was to come clean.

With a hint of Stabilo-lacquer haha! |
Good thing though. Because while on work yesterday, the kilig moment came:
Me: *typing*
Door opens. Ms. J, went to receive what was thought to be from a client.
Ms. J: Ayy! Sabi na nga ba eh. *Calls for my attention* Halika *Giggles and smiles*
Me: Ako po? *Walks near the door* Ohhh! *Speechless moment then backs away for a moment* Ano ba yan! *Turns into the reddest shade of tomato then giggles*
He really knows how to surprise me and put priceless smile and true happiness in me. I was not actually expecting anything since we were not really going to meet up. He was on a training
How about you? I hope V-day is not about sulking because you are a member No Boyfriend Since Birth or the infamous NBSB group. I was once a long-time member of the group, but it was never a reason not to enjoy Valentines day. Instead, why not celebrate it because you know how to love.
'til next post!
Ciao,
Maddie
