I was at BDJ Rendezvous I Dream Therefore I Can!

"A for Ace Water Spa...
     B for the Bellas...
         C for cool exciting games...."

Another impressive event from my best planner used so far - Belle de Jour. I was lucky to be on of the participants of BDJ Rendezvous I Dream Therefore I can. In order to be invited to the event, Bellas must answer a simple question and they would only get 25 girls. Counting from the very first girl who answered, I was the 30th or so. Days after, I received an e-mail stating I am one of the participants. Now isn't that luck.

The very first BDJ event I attended was last year at Venice Piazza, during the launching of the 2011 planner. Together with my friend I really enjoyed the said occasion and vowed that I will attend to all, if not at least most events/seminars/party that BDJ will be organizing. This time the venue was at the newly opened Ace Water Spa in Pasig (Good thing it's in Pasig. It's just 30 minutes away from home :) Besides I wanted to see this new recreational place because I'm always curious like this). Arriving at the venue (in late fashion LOL) I saw that there were other events being held in there - the opening of Ace Water Spa and Bert Lozada's Swimming Competition (though I'm not sure if it's really a competition).

Upon entering the event venue (I reiterate, in uber late fashion hahaha), it was already lunch time so I missed the first speaker. I quietly slipped at the back where a kind Bella offered a seat beside her. I should have looked like a lost child or something haha. As the host was explaining some stuff, I managed to grab some food and gorged  munch on them while getting myself familiar with the event.

Since I arrived during lunch time, everyone was busy with their food. To perk things up, Strip Manila hosted a game - a very eye-opener (literal) game I'll say.

After the endless giggles from the daring game, the second speaker Ms. Jill shared to us her personal experience on living out her passion. It was a very enriching experience listening to her. Best lesson/s learned from Ms. Jill? Fear is the number one opponent you need to face in order to do what you love. Act even if you are alone, in that way, you'll be able to connect to everyone. I wish to attend one of her classes someday.

The last speaker was none other than Ms. Bianca Valero herself. As soon as she stepped inside, I can feel every head turn to gaze at her. What a stunner! I took into heart what she said about our image. We "sell" ourselves everyday to hundreds of different people, so it's an important factor to make an effort to look good. One of the best lesson I learned from Ms. Bianca is the idea of playing up your proportions. Our whole body is our asset, and if you know your proportions, you can enhance it further more. After the event I followed her on twitter :)

BDJ never misses out on the x-factor. The prizes. Every participant went home with something in their hands. As for me, these are some of the stuff I got :)

I wish for more BDJ events nest time!

'til next post

Ciao,

Maddie :)
