Gel Nails.

When the fad for gel nails hit Manila, I decided to take a plunge (An expensive plunge that is haha!) and tried it for myself.

Grace Kelly polish shade. If I remember it right.

My verdict is that I love it! It stayed good for three weeks with its uber glossy finish, until I decided to have it removed. The reason: my nail bed started to show up. Plus my boss commented, “Hala parang pang-mangkukulam na yung haba ng kuko mo” (Yikes! Why do you have witch-like nails?).

5 things I did with my gel polish (Which made me love it ‘til my next polish date):

1. Wash hoards of laundry.
2. Wash piles of dishes.
3. Open up bottles and cans.
4. Play typing games.
5. Catfight (Just kidding LOL!).

Sadly, because of the complicated maintenance (You cannot use Acetone on this one) plus the expense (Frugal times, as usual haha) I think thrice each year is not bad for my nails.
