When the
fad for gel nails hit Manila, I decided to take a plunge (An expensive plunge
that is haha!) and tried it for myself.

My
verdict is that I love it! It stayed good for three weeks with its uber glossy
finish, until I decided to have it removed. The reason: my nail bed started to
show up. Plus my boss commented, “Hala
parang pang-mangkukulam na yung haba ng kuko mo” (Yikes! Why do you have
witch-like nails?).
5 things
I did with my gel polish (Which made me love it ‘til my next polish date):
- Wash hoards of laundry.
- Wash piles of dishes.
- Open up bottles and cans.
- Play typing games.
- Catfight (Just kidding LOL!).
Sadly,
because of the complicated maintenance (You cannot use Acetone on this one) plus
the expense (Frugal times, as usual haha) I think thrice each year is not bad
for my nails.
How
