Got chocolate?
Doesn’t chocolate
taste soooo good that even the slightest smell of it can make you lick your
tongue, bite into temptation and savour the taste? Obviously that is exactly what
happened to me – almost. Good thing I managed to snapped back to reality before I end up with a tummy ache or worse.
Meet
Hershey. My Hershey-flavoured lip balm whose story of how I got her can be read
here.

Product
Description: A Hershey-flavoured lip balm in stick form with a dark brown colour
up-close; but when applied it has a faint to no colour effect on lips. WARNING!
There is a strong scent of chocolate (Which is addicting by the way) which may lead into thinking it is real
chocolate (Do not follow my lead LOL!). The amount of product to be used can be
adjusted but just be wary since the ‘wheel below’ (SORRY! I can find the right
term at the moment. If anyone knows this, please do comment the correct term.
Thanks, love) can easily be loosen or broken.
Product
Performance: As much as I love its scent, I can say that it does not live up to
its description as a lip balm. Every time I use this (I alternate it with my
Carmex Lip Balm), I feel my lips get drier than the usual. I thought maybe a
little Carmex Lip balm underneath would do (This got me thinking, BB or Balm
over Balm) and on I went. However, even with my mighty Carmex Lip Balm my lips
would end up semi-cracked (Yikes!). I actually tried using this for a month but
with the same results. So maybe this would serve good to those with already plump
lips, but for me I have this shelved for good.
Price
and Placement: The price is around 150.00 PHp to 250.00 PHp. For those who want
to try it out for the satisfaction of smelling it, you can buy it online
through various sellers or better yet purchase it through my friend :)
So was
there a lip balm that disappointed you? Do share :)
‘Til
next post!
Ciao,
Maddie
